Necrotic: Dead Flesh on a Living Body - Comic Book Graphic Novel

Necrotic Cover Small

What happens when the dead just will not stay dead?

Freed from his burial tomb after decades of death, archeologist Marshall VanderGott awakens to a modern time he does not recognize. Although he's been deceased for nearly 70 years, Marshall finds himself imbued with newfound strength and stamina, and is once again ready to join the land of the living. But rather than fight crime or do something similarly unselfish, Marshall decides to lead "the normal life." He soon falls in love with Gwen, who is both beautiful and strong.

Their life together goes well until a terrible secret from Marshall's past resurfaces -- the ancient Curse of the Mummy. The curse haunts and torments Marshall (and those he loves) in ways both horrifying and fatal.

If you like zombies, you're going to love mummies.

The comic book is co-written by Buddy Scalera and Mike Marts. Buddy is the former writer of "Deadpool", "Richie Rich," and is the former online editor for Wizard. Mike is the Batman universe editor and former editor of the X-Men comics.

Pat Quinn supplies the cover and interior art. His art has appeared in comics by Moonstone Books, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics, Devi's Due Publishing, IDW, and many more. This comic is a complete story in a single 64-page graphic novel. Horror fans will appreciate the powerful story and graphic, disturbing visuals.
